2 Days Murchison Falls Safari
Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s best-known and biggest nature reserve. With the impressive and powerful Murchison waterfall and its remarkable animal populations, this is a must visit in the Pearl of Africa. There are superb activities on offer such as a boat safari or Delta safari on the Nile. The river divides the park between a Northern and Southern section as it makes its way through multiple rapids and waterfalls to Lake Albert. Game drives in the park allows you to be eye-to-eye with the African animal kingdom and you will be amazed by the amount of elephants, giraffes, lions, antelope, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles can all be spotted. Game drives take place on the tracks in the northern section which you reach by taking a ferry across the river. This park guarantees adventure!
After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:00 am, he will also brief you about your 2 Days safari to Murchison falls and you will start your 6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National park. You will go through Luwero, Nakasongola and later have a stopover in Masindi where you will have lunch, after lunch proceed to the park, after making payments for park entry drive straight towards the ferry point where the boat company office is to get ready for the afternoon boat cruise at 2:00 pm. The 3 hour boat ride takes you up to the bottom of the waterfalls while viewing the large Elephant herds going to the river, crocodiles, buffaloes and antelopes, schools of hippos, various birds on the river banks and also on land.
Get off at the bottom of the waterfalls for a guided 45 minutes hike along the sides of these robust waterfall – this is a route with history; actually Winston Churchill used this path to carry on his journey using boat through Uganda in the direction of Egypt plus Sudan .
Your Driver-Guide will meet you at the top of the waterfalls and drive you to the lodge to check in. Enjoy dinner and overnight relaxation.

On this day, wake up early morning and have breakfast at 6:00 am, after your driver and the ranger guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 7:00 am. During the drive you will be in position to see very many animals such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, water bucks and birds among others. After the game drive at around 11:00 am, drive back to Kampala, have lunch enroute in Masindi and proceed with the journey to Kampala or Entebbe (to your hotel/ at the airport).
