This 9 days Uganda safari is arranged to take you to the best National parks in Uganda including: the magnificent Murchison Falls park, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi impenetrable National Park.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Pick up from the Airport by your driver guide who will later transfer you to the Entebbe Botanical Beach Hotel or any other where you will dine and spend the night.

Day 2Visiting the Magnificent Murchison Falls

After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:00 am, he will also brief you about your 9 Days safari to Murchison falls and you will start your 6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National park. You will go through the Luwero, and later have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; here you will find both black and white rhinos.
After tracking, you will have another stopover in Masindi where you will have lunch, after lunch proceed to the park, after making payments for park entry drive straight towards the lodge, relax the whole evening, have dinner and an overnight.

Day 3The river Nile boat cruise

On this day wake up early and have breakfast at 6:30 am, after your driver and the ranger guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 7:00 am. During the drive you will be in position to see very many animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, water bucks and birds among others. After the game drive at around 11:00 am, drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise at 2:00pm.
On the boat you will be able to see various Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different beautiful birds some calling in the trees such as the bee eaters, African fish eagles, the colored kingfishers, the shoe billed stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls, when you reach here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls You will then go for hiking to the top of the falls where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you back to the lodge.
Have dinner and an Overnight.

Day 4Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have a morning breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls NP and drive Southwest through Hoima, Fort portal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Have lunch enroute in Fort Portal town. From here continue to Queen Elizabeth national park

Day 5Game drive & Launch cruise -Queen Elizabeth

Enjoy your breakfast and set out for a game drive through the Kasenyi track and other tracks where you have a chance to observe different wildlife species like lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks and if lucky enough leopards together with amazing beautiful bird species. Queen Elizabeth has a diversity of Uganda’s ecosystems such as the Savannah, wetlands, lakes, forests and over 600 bird species which live in the park. With this, its scenery is spectacular with crater lakes like Nyamunuka and various shrubs and forests. Later head back to the lodge for lunch and relax.
In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on Kazinga channel; this is one of the most memorable experiences from the park. Take pleasure in observing different water birds together with their echoing sweet sounds and animals such as hippos, African crocodiles, waterbucks, buffaloes among others. After experiencing the true wilderness, drive back to the lodge for a night rest and dinner.

Day 6Forest Walk and Chimpanzee tracking

Breakfast in the morning and head for a guided forest walk in Maramagambo forest with the hope to see diverse birds species, python and bat caves. You will also track chimpanzees in the Kyambura gorge. Head back to the lodge have lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive through the park.

Day 7Transfer to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha Sector tree-climbing lions

On this day have an early breakfast and drive to Bwindi impenetrable Forest via Ishasha region in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth to see tree-climbing lions that are prevalent in this area. Continue to bwindi where you will have lunch enroute and proceed to the park, check in to the park and have an evening relaxation, Dine and slumber at the lodge.

Day 8Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, later continue to the park headquarters for a briefing. After briefing, the rangers will guide you through the forest as you start your search for the Mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking is an amazing activity though can be tiring, it takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas movements. After trekking head back to the lodge for your lunch, later in the evening you could opt for relaxing at the lodge or visit the Batwa community to have fun as you enjoy their cultural dances.

Day 9Transfer to Kampala

You will have breakfast and later return to Kampala having lunch along the way in Mbarara and eventually reach Kampala late in the afternoon where you will have a city tour. You will be transferred direct to the airport for your outbound flight back home or transfer to your accommodation if you do not have a flight this evening.
